How do you like to say “hello”?
To my friends: “Wassup?” To my family: “HellOooOooOo!” In public: “Its a pleasure to meet you”
What were you doing five minutes before this interview?
Snacking and relaxing with my dogs. I can multi-task though, so I am still snacking as we speak.
What are some things you never leave home without?
Without my lifeline–I mean, cell phone. I’m a bit of a germaphobe so I always carry some hand sanitizer with me and pump away constantly. And of course, a fabulous pair of shoes. I don’t care if I am groccery shopping, I will rock some amazing stilettos but keep it casual in a sundress. Its all about balance.
What kind of underwear are you wearing?
What is this ‘underwear’ thing you speak of..?
What does your last outgoing text message say?
“LMAO”. I’m usually not a fan of acronyms but that one can express so much of what I am usually feeling.
If you could be on any reality show, what would it be?
The Apprentice. I love the challenge, work ethic, team management, and responsibilities involved. Either that or something super silly like Wipeout. I want to show off my athletic skills while getting hit in the gut by random objects. I love that! I definitely have a silly side to me. The one thing I would not want to do is be on a typical reality show where cameras follow you around and exaggerate your life or edit you to look like something you’re not. No thanks. I like my privacy.
What part of your personality gets you into trouble the most? Why?
Probably my mouth. Don’t get me wrong, I am a sweetheart but a very blunt one. I always express whatever is on my mind but I have been learning to censor myself. Sometimes silence is better but I am not good with silence…And my stubborness for sure. I can be so hard headed that when I have my mind made up, there is no force on Earth that can make me change my mind. I’m working on being less sturbborn though. I’m not perfect.
Are you ticklish? Where?
Yes but I hate to be tickled. Absolutely do not enjoy it. Whats the first thing that people try to do when you tell them you are ticklish but do not like it? They attempt to push their luck and give you a tickle…Do it to me and die.
Let’s say I’m gonna give you $1,000 dollars. Where do you go to spend it? What would you buy?
I can either go one extreme or the other. I will either just save it or go shopping. But not just for myself. I would get things for the home, my parents, dogs, friends, give more during donation at Church. Sharing is caring, after all.
What are some things guys do that get on your nerves?
When I’m at the gym and they hit on you. I have my earbuds in and am purposefully ignoring you for a reason…I like manners so all the burping and farting and gross stuff you can save for your ‘bros’. Other than that I really try to be understandable. Men are men.
What’s the first thing you look at when you meet a guy?
I honestly do not notice the physical. Rarely do I turn my head for anyone–and I definitely do not say that in an arrogant way, its just the truth. Big muscles or good looks do nothing for me. But I must admit, I love a man in a suit. Must be because I love fashion but a good suit definitely makes me look twice, even if its on a mannequin at the stores. Love. That. Shizz.
Describe your worst date ever.
I’ve never had an extremely horrible date because I honestly have never been the person who dates around too much. But one of the things that I like least about Los Angeles is all the name droppers. I don’t care who you know or hang out with…you don’t see me dropping all the names of people I know. That is beyond tacky and I could care less. People like that are just insecure, trying to prove something, or just clueless in my opinion. And I’m not interested in any of that. To add to this question, I know its very hard–but you know, my eyes are up here. Higher…higher…right there. They are grey, see?
The musician you would most like to meet is…
They’re all dead. Frank Sinatra, Dean Martin, Michael Jackson…
What was your first concert?
What was the last concert you attended?
Name three of your favorite bands or artists.
Coldplay, Bruno Mars, Britney Spears. I know, I know. You are judging me but thats my generation.
What is your favorite line from a song?
Just because I look like this Barbie blonde does not mean I don’t like hip hop.Quite the opposite. I love anything with a good beat. But as you may know, rap artists don’t have the cleanest lyrics. Sometimes I am singing along and just start laughing because I can’t believe the stuff thats being said, but I still like the beat!
What do you do to relax?
I go to the spa and get a massage at least twice a month. I’m telling you, it is something everyone should do. And of course, I love to lay out by the pool with my iPad and a frozen margarita. Now that is a relaxing day.
Name some things in your life you’re most proud of.
I am so proud that I have kept my morals and values in tact when these days society can make it so hard. I still go to Church every Sunday, no matter what city if I happen to be traveling. I’m proud of the young lady I have grown into. I think I have mentally, spiritually and intellectually matured faster than some of my peers. The best teacher is ‘life’ and I have learned a lot.
How do you like to say “goodbye”?
I always say ‘Love ya’ to my loved ones because you never know if it’ll be the last time you see them, so I always want to end it that way. Everyone else just gets a simple “Bye’ and the double check kiss.
